A Week In Älmhult/IKEA

At the beginning of this week, I made a really small update so you know I’ve been busy assisting Helene from Bernstone Fotografi AB at IKEA in Älmhult. What we’re doing, and any photos with products is strictly forbidden but here’s a batch of phone pictures showing some of my life from the past week.

Way to many cables in the computer while photographing, a yummy pizza and a really nice lighting setup using a HMI lamp (do want!). The interior design stylist Britta Henley needed some props from the IKEA department store – which is brand new, fresh and huuuuge – so I followed her for a super quick trip there before a shoot, we literally ran through the whole thing haha. I’ll make a slower, more thorough visit there again next week. Also, Helene has some really funny poses while photographing ;)

The last evening ended up with the three of us (photographer, intern/assistant and stylist) working really late so we bought thai and brought there, my plate was huge so I was able to save some money and heat the leftovers the day after!

So, rather dull and futile pictures but hey this is every day life sometimes! I’m leaving tomorrow for another week in Älmhult and at IKEA – and I’m excited! It’s really fun, a great environment to work in and people are really nice and fun to be with!
