Isabella L | Denim

Remember that I shot the wonderful Isabella a while back? We did shoot a second outfit at that time, and I finally had the time and inspiration to finish a few images.

Marine Still Life

I joined Anna for a shoot out in the archipelago, outside of Stockholm, last thursday. We were on a small island named Möja – and there were a lot of little boat houses, delivery trikes and other picturesque things. It was a stressful day, we had few hours to create a lot of images – but I managed to snap a few still lifes with my phone. I really liked the shapes and colors of what I saw. I just had to take the time to photograph it.

Had I know when editing, that I’d run these two images together, I might have edited the net to be more blue like the door on the picture on the right – but oh well :)

iPhoneography

I’ve had the opportunity to see a lot of new, inspiring places and environments during my internship. Unfortunately, there’s been no time to use (or even bring) my camera along. This has resulted in me feeding my creative hunger by photographing, and also editing, pictures on my iPhone – and I’ve realized I really like it. It’s a very sufficient supplement to my dear Nikon, and I’ve captured a lot of things I’ve seen with it – that would otherwise have been left and lost forever, since I’m most likely not returning to a lot of these places.

Sure, the quality of the images is not good enough to print big or to use in serious/work-related purposes – but they serve their purpose more than well to feed my creativity and lust to photograph and also to show my sense of composition, light and colors. Thus, I’ve given iPhone photos their own album on my FB page - and I might even upload some to my website.

I thought I’d share some of them on the blog too – they’ll get post of their own though, cause I want them to be blogged in to their rightful category – stay tuned!

Social Networks: Where To Find Me

Well – you obviously know I’m found here, on my blog. But I do exist in a lot of other places to – out there on the world wide web. So I thought I’d share those places with you now. Elin just did a post like this and I thought it was such a great idea!

The Streets Of Stockholm

The first thing I decided when moving to Stockholm – was that I’d walk around a lot in the city, in order to learn to get around by my self – how the different parts of Stockholm are connected. Thus, I’ve been strolling around the city quite a bit, and seen a lot of different neighbourhoods and people. I’ve come to notice that there’s a very different atmosphere and pace in Stockholm, and  lot more people – which for me makes it easier to do street photography.

I found Isabella on instagram, a photographer I follow posted a picture of her and I immediately fell in love with her looks and contacted her. After that, I started to ponder on how I wanted to photograph her, and I did a moodboard on Pinterest. All the models I’ve photographer have always been styled in a pretty female fashion, so I wanted a more androgynous styling this time.

da Matteo | Borås

a while back, coffee chain da Matteo opened a new shop in Borås. I visited it twice last week, and the second time I noticed that I recognized their pictures on their wall – and after a while I realized they were mine haha! I’m so slow sometimes. I did a job for them last year and they got a lot of pictures from me, and they are up on their website. It was really fun to see some of them in print, hanging as art now too!
