Social Networks: Where To Find Me

Well – you obviously know I’m found here, on my blog. But I do exist in a lot of other places to – out there on the world wide web. So I thought I’d share those places with you now. Elin just did a post like this and I thought it was such a great idea!

Meringues & Cupcakes

I really want to take some bright, lovely photos of desserts for my portfolio – cupcakes to be more specific. I knew that my cousin Michelle often bake and that she’s rather good at making pretty cupcakes, so I asked her if she wanted to help out and she did! So did my younger cousin Hannah – the meringues below is her own recipe that she’d made and wanted me to photograph. They were both pretty and delicious!

Michelle’s lovely nails fitted perfectly with the cute, pastel style of the cupcakes so her hands got to model as well! I’m really pleased with the results and I feel these images are a nice addition to my portfolio.

What do you think? I’m always glad to hear the thoughts and opinions of my readers! Some behind the scenes pictures: Read more

A Thursday In Stockholm

So, thursday was a busy but fun day. I spent the morning with Anna in her office, editing pictures from a previous job of hers so that she can finish it up and deliver it. Then I headed out to find me some lunch.

I’d walked by a candle-making shop/café and read something about soup a few times – and it was such a grey, stormy and rainy day that I decided soup was exactly what was needed. I’m so glad I made that decision! It’s the only place in Stockholm where they’re keeping the tradition of candle-making alive, and one can go there to make your own candles, shop or grab a coffee, waffles or lunch.

Broccoli and carrot soup, it was delicious! The interior of the place where so cozy!

Alice was one of 2 dogs there, a very shy and careful one – she was scared of me at first,
but then she hopped up and sat next to me while I enjoyed my coffee and cookie!
Stockholm ljusstöperi, thank you for the lovely lunch – I’ll be back!

Then I strolled around for a bit, waiting to meet up with Elin. The weather was still pretty bad so we grabbed a coffee at Wayne’s Coffee.

Lovely Elin photographing me (which she did a lot!)

bellaobastian Pup-Up Store: Details

I attended Ingrid to an event/ new pop up store as her photographer las week. It was for the clothing brand bellaobastian. I got to meet some really nice, creative people and gaze upon a lot of lovely clothes that I really liked – they were stylish, simple clothes that felt very timeless and unisex. I would love to have a photoshoot with a model wearing some of their clothes!

Wallpaper Mingle

I attended a really pleasant event last Thursday. Helene, my mentor, shares an office with Charlotta Sandberg, owner of Majvillan. She creates beautiful patterns and wallpapers, mostly for kids. Helene’s been photographing her wallpapers and Charlotta’s done a wallpaper book that just got finished so they held an event/release party in their ateljé to celebrate and invite people to actually see and feel her wallpapers.

I assisted in getting everything ready and then I acted a bit as a mingle photographer, so I’ve spent the morning working on those pictures so that Charlotta can post them on their facebook page and such.

Spring Fashion Shoot: Behind The Scenes

I just got home after an amazing photo shoot with such a great team, consisting of amazing people! To top it all off, I’m sitting here with a cold beer! Life sure is good, especially on sunny fridays after a photo shoot! I love photography so much, and I have so much fun!

Ingrid was the stylist, Jennifer the MUA and as a model we had Isabella from Avenue Modeller.

It will take a while before the images are edited, done and ready to show you guys – but here’s some snapshots from today:

Clooootheees!

Ingrid, stylist for today, is busy ironing a shirt while Jennifer does the makeup on Isabella.

Instagram weeks

The past few weeks shown through my instagram.

I assisted Helene’s husband Niklas on a job, and I got to take care of Ayla a lot. I photographed coffee, we had some fun props for a shoot on my internship, and I sat in the spring sun that has started to shine upon us.

We enjoyed lovely drinks and food at a restaurant named Wood with my parents, in celebration of me turning 24. I woke up with the sun shining bright and I got the best birthday gift ever – a huge Zelda-book! Also, I saw a great movie called Secret of Kells (watch it!).

I’ve read a lot and I’m almost done with Murakamis’ 1Q84. I had a tasty cappuccino over at da Matteo, and a day at my internship  consisted of me holding bags and Ayla while we scouted for a location, and Helene photographed a lot of porcelain.

The sun continued to shine, and created lovely shadows in our home. We went to the cinemas and saw Life of Pi – I cried my eyes out. I enjoyed the Passion for Food fair, where I saw Nana and Ted from Noble House make Gyoza (which I did not get a chance to taste…). During a walk around town with Andreas, I found the Triforce on the ground – no Master Sword in sight though :( haha!
