Lysekil – Salty ‘n Wild

So, quite a while  back now, we got an assignment from school. We got divided in to groups, containing one or two photographers, a Copywriter and an Art Director. Each group got a certain part/business of the county Lysekil assigned to them. My group consisted of me, Jenny (also a photographer), Andréas Silverblad (art director) and Axel Johansson (copywriter). Together our assignment was to market a hostel called Strandflickornas Vandrarhem, and this is the result of that:

You might wonder what the hell this is, and how we came up with this? On the left it says “Where does the hare sleep?”, and on the right it says “Do crayfish brush their teeth as well?”.

Then it says: ”The answer to this question and many more is obtained through Strandflickornas offer Salt och Vilt. The offer contains accomodation at our hostel and free entrence to Nordens Ark and Havets Hus. Bring your family to an exciting and instructive adventure. For more information, visit strandflickorna.se”

So, here’s the deal. They have certain packages for their rooms, and one is called Salt och Vilt, which in english translates to Salty and Wild. This package is a family package which, besides rooms in the hostel, entitles you to get a free entrance at to Havets Hus, a place to see fish and stuff that live in the sea (thus, the salty part) and it also gives you free entrance to Nordens Ark, a zoo (the wild part of the deal).

Now, they have a lot of different packages which they offer, but our Art Director and Copywriter found that this package was something we could really work with, and make a more fun campaign that appealed both to grown ups and children. We met and had a meeting, talket it through and got a sketch of how they imagined some posters.

Behind The Scenes – Movie Recording

So, this saturday me and my group set out to make our commercial for a school assignment we have, since we are currently working with motion picture. Here is a short and non-interesting behind the scenes video of that. We speak swedish, and I didn’t ad subtitles because the few things we say are barely heard or nothing of importance.

Hint: the commercial will be about matches haha.

Second ad wooh~~!

Last month a new issue of the magazine “countrylife” [translated from swedish] was launched, and I have made another ad for the interior design shop for whom I’ve worked before. This ad is so much better than the first one! The theme for the magazine was “spring” and “patio” so we made the ad after those themes as well. All pictures shot and edited by me, also made the ad myself, using Photoshop CS5.

it’s so nice to see “Photographer: Rania Rönntoft” at the left bottom of the page, in a magazine with almost 200 000 readers!

Ad for a interior design shop

My first ad I’ve ever made. but it turned out really well! The lady who owns the shop I did the ad for is a friend and neighbour to my boyfriend and his family. I shot all the pictures and made the ad in Photoshop CS5. Published on a fullpage in a christmas issue of a very big and good magazine about interior design which we have here in Sweden.
