Jasmine

A cosy, late october day and rather early in the morning, I met up with Martina and headed to Jasmine’s place. I want so start shooting fashion in a more cozy/lifestyle way (and I need practice) so that was what today’s shoot was going to be all about – which was hard both for me and Jasmine, since none of us are used to it. Also, I had to try out my new lens, the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 – a lens I am so far, very pleased with.

Wedding: Rebecka and Rickard

When I got an email from Rebecka asking me if I wanted to shoot their wedding, I got excited and happy; of course I wanted to! When I then met them for the first time, I knew I’d made the right

decision, we seemed to be on the same page. They had a folder with inspirational pictures, and they had even scouted a place for the shoot – I was in heaven! I got even more excited when they asked if I wanted to be with Rebecka and her bridesmaids at the hotel in the morning, while they got ready.

Something else that fascinated me and made me smile, was that Rebecka and Rickard spent the last night apart, and did not see each other again until Rebecka walked through the doors of the church. The tension, oh my – she was so happy, yet looked very calm! I glansed at Rickard who stood in front of the church, waiting – but he too looked pretty calm and just.. peaceful and happy. I knew then, that these two are really meant to be. Something came over me where I pictures myself walking up the aisle having my loved one waiting for me, and I got goosebumps! I got myself together though, and shot the lovely ceremony.

The shoot afterwards was joyful, easy and full of laughter and waay to many kisses (almost) ;)

A weekend in Halmstad: Midsummer and stuff

So, we went to our relatives (my mums’ cousin, and hence; my second cousins) for a few days, just to relax, get a taste of vacation – as one always do at their place, with all the lovely food, colorful but yet soothing environments and just.. a slow pace, doing what we feel like when we feel like it. We also went because it was midsummer and we wanted to celebrate it with them :) Andreas joined us and I am so happy for that <3

We barely arrived until we were drinking beer and wine, doing BBQ and having a great time!

Epic Progress in the life as photographer

Why yes indeed, today I got the final papers and I am now a registered businesswoman, I have my own company and I am now a working, freelancing photographer. And I must say, business is growing!

Soon 160 likes on my facebook page, people in need of a photographer are finding me on their own by searching the web ( I’m doing something right!) and I have one wedding booked for the summer so far. I almost got a second one, but unfortunately, they were getting married on the same date as the couple that has already booked me – popular date ;)

I also have another work on it’s way, but it’s not 100% set yet, so I don’t wanna jinx it by saying too much, so it’ll stay a secret for now ;)

Also, I recently finished a job (and will probably show it to you soon), which means I will soon send my first bill as a business woman!

I’m so excited about this! It’s also a huge step, and it’s lot of work with your own company, to keep things straight and your papers in order – so of course I am a bit scared and nervous as well, but mostly psyched ;D
